20 year old DuCane Gas Grill ....... Other Racks for the Rotisserie

Chickens mounted on the Spit........ Chicken about half way done ! ! !

Chicken ready to come off.... Chicken ready to cut up & Eat
1. Clean the chicken and put on the spit with the holders and cotton string.
2. Put on the pit and spray with some veggie oil or olive oil.
3. Let the chicken go till done ( about 1 3/4 to 2 hours...)
4. Enjoy and pat yourself on the back for a job well done ! ! !
Note: The DuCane grilling and Rotis-A-Grate system puts the fire and heat in the back of the grill and not under the food. With this type of cooking there is no problem with grease fires or burned up food... also the burner is fully adjustable from high to low settings.... I cook at the medium setting and then turn it to the high setting for the last 20 minutes or so to help brown the skin. Also for some real wood flavor I like to add some wood chips or small chunks of hickory to the top of the Rotis-A-Grate, this really make a difference.
So good Luck and try some chicken tonight ! ! ! !
